I’ve tried many of these tools, but the one I keep coming back to is Hootsuite. It’s got a lot of features that take the headache out of social media for me. If you haven’t given NEW LADIES WOMENS PLATFORM STILETTO PARTY PROM WEDDING MID HIGH HEEL PUMPS COURT SHOES SIZE Nude Patent qdFE24O
a try, I suggest you check it out.

Social Media Management Platforms

In the beginning of time (at least social media time), one had to log into every network to post something or view what her friends were posting. It was time-consuming. Many people pared down the number of social tools they used simply because they didn’t have time to manage all those platforms.

Small businesses were quick to toss social media out the window. After all, who had all day to share content and see what others were saying? Needless to say, it was a lot to juggle.

Then software developers wised up: what if they could invent a platform where users could manage multiple social media profiles from one place? Where they could even schedule posts to go live later so they wouldn’t have to manage it all day long?

I think the first platform that had these functions that I used was TweetDeck, which was purchased by Twitter in 2011. There are dozens of other similar tools. But today I’m going to share some tips and techniques to use Hootsuite to effectively gain more followers and increase your social media results. Ready to rock?

It can be overwhelming if you start using Hootsuite and don’t know where to focus your attentions, so let’s look at my favorite features.

When I say “multiple,” I mean two things:

For more businesses, the former isn’t necessary, unless perhaps you have a personal Twitter account and one for your business. But the second is gold. It keeps you from having to visit each social site to post updates. Everything you need to see is right there, in Hootsuite.

I love this one. Rather than logging in every time you want to post something on a social site, you can schedule it in advance. If you’re busy like me, this is a lifesaver, as you can spend 15 minutes at a time scheduling updates for a few days — or even weeks — and then get back to running your business.

There’s even a feature called Auto Schedule, which permits Hootsuite to send out your update at a time that it has deemed the one most likely to get more shares and views.

You can create columns, or streams, with any one of the following:

This is where the good stuff is, and we’ll dive into it in the next section.

The content you share on social media is only as good as the number of people who click or share it. That’s why I dig Hootsuite’s analytics tool. There are more than a dozen report templates you can customize, like Twitter Engagement, Ow.ly Clicks (that’s their URL shortener), Facebook Insights, and more.

As JavaScript is getting more and more popular, teams are leveraging its support on many levels in their stack - front-end, back-end, hybrid apps, embedded devices and much more.

This post is meant to be the first in a series aimed at digging deeper into JavaScript and how it actually works: we thought that by knowing the building blocks of JavaScript and how they come to play together you’ll be able to write better code and apps. We’ll also share some rules of thumb we use when building , a lightweight JavaScript application that has to be robust and highly-performant in order to stay competitive.

As shown in the GitHut stats , JavaScript is at the top in terms of Active Repositories and Total Pushes in GitHub. It doesn’t lag behind much in the other categories either.

( Tamaris Women’s 28916 Sling Back Sandals Gold Gold Stars X6k1Oq0sB8
).

If projects are getting so much dependent on JavaScript, this means that developers have to be utilizing everything that the language and the ecosystem provide with deeper and deeper understanding of the internals, in order to build amazing software.

As it turns out, there are a lot of developers that are using JavaScript on a daily basis but don’t have the knowledge of what happens under the hood.

Overview

Almost everyone has already heard of the V8 Engine as a concept, and most people know that JavaScript is single-threaded or that it is using a callback queue.

In this post, we’ll go through all these concepts in detail and explain how JavaScript actually runs. By knowing these details, you’ll be able to write better, non-blocking apps that are properly leveraging the provided APIs.

If you’re relatively new to JavaScript, this blog post will help you understand why JavaScript is so “weird” compared to other languages.

And if you’re an experienced JavaScript developer, hopefully, it will give you some fresh insights on how the JavaScript Runtime you’re using every day actually works.

The JavaScript Engine

A popular example of a JavaScript Engine is Google’s V8 engine. The V8 engine is used inside Chrome and Node.js for example. Here is a very simplified view of what it looks like:

The Engine consists of two main components:* Memory Heap — this is where the memory allocation happens* Call Stack — this is where your stack frames are as your code executes

The Runtime

There are APIs in the browser that have been used by almost any JavaScript developer out there (e.g. “setTimeout”). Those APIs, however, are not provided by the Engine.

So, where are they coming from?

It turns out that the reality is a bit more complicated.

So, we have the Engine but there is actually a lot more. We have those things called Web APIs which are provided by browsers, like the DOM, AJAX, setTimeout and much more.

And then, we have the so popular event loop and the callback queue .

The CallStack

JavaScript is a single-threaded programming language, which means it has a single Call Stack. Therefore it can do one thing at a time.

The Call Stack is a data structure which records basically where in the program we are. If we step into a function, we put it on the top of the stack. If we return from a function, we pop off the top of the stack. That’s all the stack can do.

Let’s see an example. Take a look at the following code:

When the engine starts executing this code, the Call Stack will be empty. Afterwards, the steps will be the following:

Each entry in the Call Stack is called a Stack Frame .

And this is exactly how stack traces are being constructed when an exception is being thrown — it is basically the state of the Call Stack when the exception happened. Take a look at the following code:

If this is executed in Chrome (assuming that this code is in a file called foo.js), the following stack trace will be produced:

Blowing the stack ” — this happens when you reach the maximum Call Stack size. And that could happen quite easily, especially if you’re using recursion without testing your code very extensively. Take a look at this sample code:

When the engine starts executing this code, it starts with calling the function “foo”. This function, however, is recursive and starts calling itself without any termination conditions. So at every step of the execution, the same function gets added to the Call Stack over and over again. It looks something like this:

At some point, however, the number of function calls in the Call Stack exceeds the actual size of the Call Stack, and the browser decides to take action, by throwing an error, which can look something like this:

Running code on a single thread can be quite easy since you don’t have to deal with complicated scenarios that are arising in multi-threaded environments — for example, deadlocks.

But running on a single thread is quite limiting as well. Since JavaScript has a single Call Stack, what happens when things are slow?

Concurrency the EventLoop

What happens when you have function calls in the Call Stack that take a huge amount of time in order to be processed? For example, imagine that you want to do some complex image transformation with JavaScript in the browser.

You may ask — why is this even a problem? The problem is that while the Call Stack has functions to execute, the browser can’t actually do anything else — it’s getting blocked. This means that the browser can’t render, it can’t run any other code, it’s just stuck. And this creates problems if you want nice fluid UIs in your app.

And that’s not the only problem. Once your browser starts processing so many tasks in the Call Stack, it may stop being responsive for quite a long time. And most browsers take action by raising an error, asking you whether you want to terminate the web page.

Now, that’s not the best user experience out there, is it?

So, how can we execute heavy code without blocking the UI and making the browser unresponsive? Well, the solution is asynchronous callbacks .

This will be explained in greater detail in Part 2 of the “How JavaScript actually works” tutorial: “I”.

In the meantime, if you’re having a hard time reproducing and understanding issues in your JavaScript apps, take a look at Trotters Womens Prima Dress Pump Black xJ7gBtJu

Tthe rest of the site is article-style pages handled by a standard template with an optional custom feature. Among the features are brightly-colored tables such as for Meals, Fees and the Weekly Timetable; a mason-style layout for Parents’ Stories; a Google Map for the Location page; and a list of the nursery’s Policies.

One exception is the Staff page. Originally intended to appear lower down the homepage, its layout was hampered by the masthead once moved to its own dedicated page. So on this page the masthead shrinks, its title and tagline appearing to the right of the logo rather than below.

As originally conceived, the bottom of the one-page scroller was to be a rather extensive contact form, complete with optional sliders to set values and let people express their preferences within them when choosing a nursery (any resemblance to the contact form at Studio.zeldman is purely intentional — and yes that site also uses Sentinel!). But Penina believed that adding fields to a contact form is merely complicating matters and would discourage rather than encourage people to make contact, so we abandoned the idea of sliders (for now!) and minimized the number of form fields.

I did though ensure that submitting the contact form creates an actual entry in the content management system, specifically in the Enquiries content channel, which shares all its characteristics with the Children channel so that an Enquiries entry can be easily switched over to a Children entry if the prospective child does join the nursery. This is kind of trivial to be sure, but does introduce to the site owner the notion that joining the nursery is a single process.

As usual when made with Engaging, the site runs on EllisLab’s New Balance Women’s Fuel Core Coast V4 Running Shoes Blue Galaxy/Light Petrol/Himalayan Pink Lg4 kCPgvqq
CMS . To reduce pageload speeds we’re using Causing Effect’s CE Cache add-on; Mike Tuupola’s Vouge001 Womans Closed Toe Round Toe Kitten Heel PU Stripe Pumps Black 6Gs5vO
; and — for the first time — Guess Women’s Footwear Active Lady Trainers Bianco Black Black Black FMg0j0PxOJ
, based on PJAX , which we have used, but this feels even faster — basically instant — because it actually often is: hover over a link for 2 seconds and it pre-loads the linked page in the background!

Adobe’s Balance Text is our usual leg-up for nice typography; and VEMOW Sports Outdoor Shoes for Men Trainers Flats Flip Flops Thongs Espadrilles Wedge Running Walking Outdoor Sneakers Sports Hiking Casual Waterproof AntiSkidding Shoes Grey FqqJWDJ
by Nick Williams enables the header to slide down into view upon reverse scrolling (a usability idea taken from how Safari handles its chrome on iOS).

And as usual, though perhaps this will change, we approached the site “mobile first second”, which I must admit seems to resolve into merely “mobile second”. I’m finding this approach increasingly burdensome, in that adapting an original desktop design for mobile is difficult, almost like doing another site. We’ll leave optimizing the site for small screens for another phase, though of course I acknowledge its huge importance.

The site has won praise from stakeholders. Time will tell whether it fulfills its main task: bringing more prospective parents to visit the nursery.

Benzodiazepine Addiction

Benzodiazepines are well-known anti-anxiety agents that are used to treat anxiety, insomnia, alcohol withdrawal, and seizures. These medications, obtained through a prescription from a licensed physician, act upon the benzodiazepine receptors located throughout the central nervous system of the body to lower anxiety levels, increase relaxation of the muscles, and produce sedation. Benzodiazepines generally produce their effects very quickly, which makes them ideal for people who are suffering from anxiety disorders as they can be taken when the anxiety peaks. While these medications are very helpful, when not used directly as prescribed they can lead to serious problems and addiction.

Benzodiazepines are anti-anxiety agents widely prescribed to treat anxiety, insomnia, alcohol withdrawal, and seizure management. These controlled medications include clonazepam, Xanax, Ativan, and Valium and act upon the benzodiazepine receptors located throughout the central nervous system of the body. When used, benzos lower anxiety levels, increase relaxation of the muscles, and produce sedation. Benzodiazepines generally deliver their effects very quickly, which makes them ideal for people suffering from anxiety disorders as they can be taken when anxiety peaks or a panic attack begins. Most people who are prescribed benzodiazepines by their doctor do not go on to abuse these medications, however certain people do end up becoming addicted to the rapid onset and feelings of relaxation caused by benzos, especially when combined with other drugs.

Benzodiazepine abuse is a form of prescription drug abuse; the usage of benzos in a recreational fashion rather than to treat the disorders they were intended to help is illegal and, unfortunately, common. Many who abuse benzodiazepines also engage in abuse of different drugs. Some use benzos to augment an existing high from drugs like heroin, methamphetamines, or alcohol. Benzodiazepines are a relatively safe drug used on their own to treat certain disorders, however, when mixed with drugs and alcohol, benzo abuse can quickly lead to overdose and death.

Statistics

In the United States, at any given time, 11% to 15% of the adult population has taken benzodiazepine one or more times during the year prior and about 1 to 2% have taken benzos daily for longer than 12 months. As benzodiazepine abuse seldom occurs alone, approximately 80% of those who abuse benzos use another substance (most commonly opioids) as well.

Causes and Risk Factors for Benzodiazepine Abuse

Addiction to benzos is not likely the result of a single risk factor, but rather a combination of numerous risk factors working together. The most common causes and risk factors for benzodiazepine abuse include:
